San Ramon homes median sold price increased $140,000 in March, 2014
The median sold prices of homes in San Ramon continue to increase month after month in 2014. The “for sale” price is up 19% and the “sold” price is also up 19%. In March 2014, a total of 69 homes were sold at an $842,000 median selling price, showing a $140,000 in price increase.
Although 125 new listing came on the market during the month of March, San Ramon real estate is still experiencing shortage of “homes for sale inventory”. Currently, the supply of inventory is well below what is needed to have what is considered a balanced and stable market of 6 months supply. Not only do we have little inventory, homes are selling very quickly with an average of 13 days of market time and sellers are receiving multiple offers.
With a large pool of buyers looking to purchase San Ramon homes and shortage of inventory means the San Ramon homes price will continue to increase throughout 2014. And we will continue to have what is considered a seller market.
