Halloween in the San Ramon Valley~ Things that go bump in the night

It’s that spooky time of year again.  Time to be on the lookout for werewolves, vampires, ghosts, and the occasional superhero or princess.  Halloween in the San Ramon Valley.  The question on the minds of children in our Valley:  Where is the best place to go trick or treating?  Who ya gonna call?  Well, Mona of course!  Mona has been a realtor in the San Ramon Valley for 15 years, and she knows all the good safe neighborhoods with the best candy and the best decorations!

Let’s start with the basics – where to get a pumpkin to carve?  Most local grocery stores have a nice selection, but for a more Halloween themed experience, there are pumpkin patches nearby with a variety of activities.  Check out the list below:

•Forest Home Farms Historic Park located at 19953 San Ramon Valley Boulevard: Pumpkin patch and attractions for younger children.

•Windmill Farms Produce located at 2255 San Ramon Valley Boulevard: Pumpkin Patch and petting zoo

•Moore’s at the Alameda County Fairgrounds and Rowell Ranch: Pumpkin patch and activities for the kids

•G & M Farms located at 487 East Airway Boulevard: Corn maze and pumpkin patch

Local stores like Target and Walmart also have a great selection to choose from.

How about a scary movie to get into the Halloween spirit?  Put on a pot of soup, pop some popcorn,  and have a spine tingling evening of food and fright!  Keep the remote handy so you can pause the movie when trick or treaters come to the door! Here is a list of some of the scariest movies of all time – Not for younger audiences.
