Castro Valley homes for sale

Castro Valley homes for sale:

Located in the heart of the East Bay is the unincorporated town of Castro Valley. People often think of unincorporated towns as forgotten and neglected, but Castro Valley thrives as one of the largest unincorporated towns in the United States. Populated by roughly 60,000 people, Castro Valley neighborhoods have successfully stood out all on their own thanks to its rich history, unique atmosphere, and desire to evolve.
Ranching was originally the main industry in Castro Valley so it’s unsurprising to find the Canyon is still filled with active ranches which aim to maintain the history of the town. This is exactly what makes Castro Valley such a gem. It’s rare to find a city that is only a half hour drive to center of San Francisco, but still keeps a rural atmosphere and close knit community.
People who live in Castro Valley neighborhoods are friendly and quickly guard their own. The residents have a safe place to explore the outdoors in one of the many trails and parks; even a 315 acre lake and 18-hole golf course. And as accessible as nature and the outdoors can be, one can just as easily head to the newly redesigned downtown area. Whether it’s the new library, the state-of-the-art hospital, or new housing developments, such as Five Canyons and Palomares Hills, Castro Valley shows that it knows how to keep a balance to maintain the peaceful town vibe while still recognizing when it’s time to evolve to match the needs of the newest generations.
With a wide range of Castro Valley homes for sale and idyllic location, the town is right for many prospective home buyers. It has easy commuting access with its close proximity to I-580, I-880, and its own BART Station. Commuters can get to work quickly or get out for a night of fun in the city and then unwind back at home in the quiet and tranquil surroundings. Children can grow up safely in these neighborhoods and attend great public schools. This seemingly unassuming town has plenty to offer if given a chance.
