Dublin is continuing to thrive due to its location, amenities and schools. The Real Estate market is on fire here! Its location at the crossroads of interstates 580 and 680 makes living here ideal for commuting to the Silicon Valley or San Francisco. There are a number of employers located in Dublin, including Sybase, Oracle, and Ross. Let’s review a few of Dublin’s neighborhoods:

Silvergate/Bordeaux Estates is located on the west side of Dublin west of San Ramon Road between Vomac and Hansen. Built in the 60’s and the 80’s, it is one of Dublin’s first high end developments. There are some lovely hill views here, and many of the homes back to open space.

San Ramon Village, or “The Village” as it is affectionately known. The Village was Dublins first development of single family homes, built in the early 1960’s. It sits between Alcosta Blvd and Amador Valley Blvd, east of San Ramon Road. This neighborhood offers more modest starter homes in a neighborhood that is very family friendly.

In the northwest corner of Dublin you will find Foothill Estates. Built in the mid 80’s by Woodhill Development and Estate Homes, this hideaway neighborhood with its larger elegant homes enjoys many views of the Tri Valley and surrounding Dublin Hills. It is situated south of Alcosta, and west of San Ramon Road.

“Hansen Hill/The Ridge” This development, built by Warmington Homes in the late 90’s, sits in the hills of western Dublin overlooking the Tri Valley. It is just north of Dublin Blvd and west of San Ramon Road, off of Silvergate Drive.

Schaefer Ranch, built by Discovery Homes, is located in the hills in the southwestern corner of Dublin. This development was begun in 2008 and boasts many beautiful large estate homes, with more on the way.

In the southeastern corner of Dublin, near 580, Tassajara Road and Dublin Blvd you will find a veritable explosion of new construction. Dublin Ranch, Fallon Crossing, Positano, Jordan Ranch, and Emerald Park, just to name a few of the developments. Some of these are considered master planned communities, and feature builders like Toll Brothers, KB Homes, DR Horton, Standard Pacific and others.

Many folks are noticing the immense appeal that Dublin holds, as it morphs into a newly realized destination for living, shopping and dining.
